Life is all about relationships.
We exist because of a relationship between an egg and sperm. The cells communicate and begin to organize into more cells, tissue, organs, systems, and structures that make you who you are. Our first impressions around relationships form in utero. What was going on with your parents? Was this a planned pregnancy? Were you welcomed into the world?
It’s not uncommon for clients to come to me because they want to feel good about themselves. They truly believe that everything that was given to them was conditional.
For most of my clients, the most challenging relationship is the one with themselves!
I’ll ask my client, “Are you comfortable being in your body?” Most of them will say no, and they don’t like being in physical form either. This is a really good set-up to being weak when you relate to yourself, your body, your finances, your health, your partner, your parents, your family, your co-workers, and God!
